Baneberry Misty Blue

Misty Blue Baneberry is a shade lover's dream! This unique perennial brings bold color to shady spaces with inedible, white berries on contrasting red stems and decorative, lacy blue-green foliage. Introduced by the Mt. Cuba Center in Delaware, Misty Blue is a beautiful hybrid from an Eastern native perennial. It produces clusters of small, white flowers in late spring, followed by the snowy white berries in summer. Attractive to pollinators, it makes a wonderful addition to the shadowy areas of a butterfly garden or in sun-dappled borders.
