Colorful Shade-Loving Caladium Rosebud

The color pattern on Caladium Rosebud just begs for a closer look. Its pink, heart-shaped leaves are surrounded by white and a broad green edge. Whether planted along a shaded walkway, in hanging baskets or window boxes, this colorful, shade-loving caladium stands out. Grown primarily for their foliage, caladium are tender plants that don't handle cold weather. Because of this, many gardeners plant them in pots indoors and then move them outdoors after the danger of spring frost has passed. They also add color and charm to a conservatory or warm sun porch during winter.  If not in zones 10-11, dig before frost, dry and store the bulbs in a warm, dry frost-free place.
