Elephant Ear White Lava

Eye-catching Elephant Ear features large, glossy green leaves with wide, white central bands and side veining. It's spotted purple at the base of the leaves. Whether grown in a partially shaded, moist area of the garden or in a large patio container, Colocasia White Lava gives the garden a bold, tropical look. Growing 3-4 ft. tall, it works well as a corner planting or low screen. Because they are tender plants sensitive to the cold, Elephant Ear plants should be lifted in the fall in zones 3-8, and stored in a cool, dry, frost-free location. Deer tend to avoid.
