Coreopsis Solar Mellow

Thanks in part to its stellar disease resistance, Solar Mellow was specially selected to become part of our Coreopsis lineup this year. Featuring an abundance of vibrant yellow-orange blooms with red hearts that appear over an extended period, this amazing perennial is virtually carefree, drought and heat tolerant, and deer resistant. A favorite of butterflies and other beneficial pollinators, it makes an exquisite border planting, container addition, or cut-flower bouquet. Plus, when dried, the flowers can be enjoyed well into the fall and winter seasons. As a true perennializer, it survives the cold days of winter with ease.
