Gladiolus Black Star

Presenting Black Star—the darkest red-black glad we've seen to date! This striking variety adds drama to back borders and full-sun foundation beds with its amazing color, towering height and long-lasting blooms. Standing at a stately 40-48" tall, the richly hued flowers act as a beacon to passing bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. And thanks to its longevity, it makes a first-rate cut flower, too. We like them in groups or paired with light, white or bright varieties for contrast.
