Gladiolus Gydan

Gydan is sure to become a popular choice for back borders, sunny foundation plantings or along fence lines. With its stately, upright growth habit and unusual coloration, we have already become fans of this newcomer to the gladiolus line. Midsummer brings bright apple-green buds that burst open to reveal white blooms replete with accents in the same apple-green shade. What a sight when both buds and blooms appear simultaneously on the 3-4' stalks. A hefty 10-12 florets emerge at one time, giving a very full look to the flower spikes. Plant in full sun for best results. Lift in fall in zones 3-7.
