Lycoris squamigera (Amaryllis hallii)

Strap-shaped green foliage disappears in July; flower spike bursts forth in August. Grow in cool greenhouses, outdoors in warmer areas where little or no frost is experienced. In zones lower than hardiness zones indicated below, apply winter cover.
