Papaver orientale Snow Goose

Named for a native North American bird, this snowy white Oriental Poppy features dark basal blotches and just the slightest touch of pink nearby. Appearing earlier than most other perennials, these late-spring bloomers make quite an impression in borders and cutting beds. Snow Goose is a favorite among beneficial pollinators, drawing them into the landscape with ease. We love to see poppies planted in groups where the crepelike petals can be admired up close.
