Red Hot Poker Hot and Cold

Hot, dry sites are no match for this tough, yet beautiful perennial. Hot and Cold is drought tolerant and easy to grow. It flowers from early summer to mid fall, producing pretty tangerine-orange buds that open to reveal upright scapes of creamy white florets. Though it resembles an exotic tropical plant, it is actually hardy down to zones 5b and 6. Great for butterfly gardens, borders and cutting beds. Makes an outstanding addition to presentation gardens as the plant is quite eye catching. PP31185
