Royal Fern

Make a statement with this tall, handsome fern. Royal Fern (Osmunda regalis) features a deep, forest green color and long, smooth-edged leaves. Growing 5-7 ft. tall, the graceful fronds add color and texture to shaded borders, woodland gardens and native gardens. This native shade perennial grows well in wet areas along ponds, streams and water gardens. Its fronds often turn yellow to brown hues in the fall.
